EDA' S SUGAR COOKIES

My beautiful cousin's beautiful daugher Eda got finally fianceed after a loong period of expectancy. Quite time ago, we promised each other to make her cookies to be gifted to her guests in the ceremony. 6 days before the ceremony, we managed to to make 60 cookies in 1 day with the great efforts of Eda, Handan & Asli.

Güzel kuzenimin güzel kızı Eda, uzun bir bekleyişten sonra nihayet sözlendi :) Uzun bir zaman önce, söz kurabiyelerini birlikte yapmak için zaten sözleşmiştik. Söz tarihinden 6 gün önce, 60 tane kurabiyeyi Eda, Handan ve Aslı nın yoğun gayretleri ile 1 günde tamamlamayı başardık.

Eda brought all the necessary stuff with her; pink & lilac color supar paste, tiny roses silicon mold, cookie sheets, ribbons, etc. All the rest was up to our imagination. But of course someone had to bake the trays of cookies; and she was Eda. With a great tranquility and attention, she baked around 75 heart cookies on her own without a single complain or fatigue.

Eda yanında gerekli olan tüm malzemeleri getirdi; pembe ve lila renkli şeker hamuru, minik gül silikon kalıbı, kurabiye poşeti, kurdelası, vs. Gerisi hayalgücümüze kaldı. Ama tabi ki birinin tepsiler dolusu kurabiyeleri pişirmesi gerekiyordu; o da Eda oldu. Büyük bir dinginlik ve dikkatle, tek başına yaklaşık 75 adet kurabiye pişirdi, hem de en ufak bir şikayet veya yorgunluk belirtisi göstermeden.

After baking, Handan and Asli luckily catched us up at the detailed decorating session. In case of their absence, we would never had a time nor a chance to form these beautiful tiny embellishments on the cookies. They both are quite fast, organised and creative in this session. 

Kurabiyeler piştikten sonra, Handan ve Aslı detaylı süsleme kısmında imdadımıza yetişti. Onlar olmasaydı, bu kurabiyelerin bu kadar işçilik gerektiren süslü olma şansları hiç olmayacaktı. Kızların ikisi de bu işte son derece seri, organize ve yaratıcı.

Of course we were quiet tired at the end of the day and the kitchen was a mess itself. But the result was quite satisfactory for us. What do -you- think??

And again my quite experienced hero Handan fixed all the mess inside the kitchen and left me a beautiful tidy house :)

I would like to thank' em all for their great efforts and their presence which pleasured my house.

And sure i wish Eda & Emin an eternal life together; HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Pek tabi ki gün sonunda hepimiz oldukça yorulduk ve mutfak da tam anlamıyla savaş alanına döndü. Ama ortaya çıkan sonuç hepimizi fazlasıyla tatmin etti. Peki siz ne düşünüyorsunuz??

 Her zaman olduğu gibi tecrübeli kahraman kardeşim mutfağı düzenleyip, bana güzel ve düzenli bir ev bıraktı :) Tekrardan hepsine müthiş yardımları ve varlıkları için teşekkür ediyorum.

Ve Eda ve Emin' e de birlikte sonsuz olacakları mutlu bir hayat diliyorum !
