VOLTRAN CAKE ; CHOCOLATE PANDISPAGNA FILLED WITH VANILLA LEMON PASTRY CREAM, FRESH STRAWBERRY & BANANA
I made this cake together with my sister Handan to be gifted as a holiday cake during our uncle visit. We are a big family and naturally all of us have different tastes. So we planned this cake to serve any taste, so everyone would be at least happy with one ingredient.
Here is the inside picture:
4 chocolate cake layers filled with vanilla lemon flavoured pastry cream and enhanced with fresh strawberries and bananas.
This cake ended up to be pretty tall which was indeed my intention.
But it was really tough to cover the cake flawlessly with the tiffany blue buttercream frosting. But i think we managed after several freezing sessions.

I brought this pretty pink cake to my dear friend Şeyma who had recently suffered a surgery.
She' s my beloved, so i shared her misery with the deepest notes in my soul.
But somehow the life goes on, so i aimed this cake to be a kind of messenger for the pretty pink beautiful days in her future life.
And one other speciality of this cake is the Speculoos cream inside the recipe. This is exactly the thing which made Şeyma and Simge seek for it inside the European counties. They are quite unfamiliar with the pastry business, but they both finally managed to find it in France and it was worth waiting indeed. Therefore i would never consider this cake without it. I hope anyone enjoyed its taste as well :)
